The Condiment That Keeps On Giving - General Knot & Co.

Truth be told, we've become a bit addicted to the IG account HalfBakedHarvest.  Amazing photos and ridiculously tantalizing food porn worthy recipes. Every one we have tried has been a winner.  The Tequila Lime Pickled Jalapeños were but a mere condiment of one of their latest recipes, however we have decided it is a new General Knot & Co. basic ingredient to just about any dish you can image; breakfast scrambled eggs, noon time peanut butter and honey sandwiches with a kick of jalapeño or a delicious dinner of shredded chicken Tinga Quesadillas courtesy of the Half Baked Harvest.

Tequila Lime Pickled Jalapeños
  • 3 jalapenos, thinly sliced
  • 1 small lime, sliced
  • 1/3 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon tequila
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar


To make the tequila lime pickled jalapeños, add the jalapeños to a glass jar. Sprinkle with sugar. Add the vinegar, tequila and lime juice. Toss. Let sit at room temperature for 20-30 minutes. After 30 minutes you can then cover and store in the fridge until ready to use.
