Yeah, that's right, GQ was checking us out.
When we launched our line of children's bow ties, Little Knot, we immediately thought of our friends at Clementine in Middlebury, Vermont. Specializing in vintage finds and all things created with an eye for great design, Clementine is our kind of store. If you ever find yourself in Middlebury we highly recommend you check out this champion of "Vermontism" overlooking the Otter Creek Falls. Little Knot was designed for the little man in your life, so be sure to make it a family outing!
It’s always fun to see the wedding of high school sweethearts, isn’t it? Well, Christine + Fred aren’t that couple. In fact, they’ve got those couples beat. They met in kindergarten (awe)! So yeah, their wedding was kind of a big deal for all their friends and family (and pup, Miles), that have been dying to see them tie the knot. As Creative Director of the new social marketplace, Luvocracy + one of the most followed pinners on Pinterest, you can just imagine how much fun she had planning her wedding. It included elements of everything they love. From their family dogs to their Latin culture. It was the perfect love story captured beautifully by Feather & Stone Photography.

Spring might not be in the air for all of us just yet but you can at least start rallying the troops with your accessories. No place better to start than with ties and for that, the General Knot gents have your back. Today they released their Spring ’13 collection made from deadstock materials thus depending on the fabric 8 to 12 are created of each pattern. You’ll need to act fast if you see something you need for your warm weather wear.
From GK, “Going forward with the new narrow width, we found our strongest inspiration coming from the very core of our brand’s concept- The fabric. We worked very closely with fellow collectors and sources to find some of our most amazing fabrics ever. From finding great vintage American prints and wovens to beautiful Southeast Asian patterns, good luck was on our side.”

All I needed to see were the words "American" & "Vintage" in the same sentence and my attention was drawn. Never mind that I was not just the only man in the room, but the only non-retirement aged person in the room as well. Yeah, well, vintage textiles and a mutual admiration for masterful craftsmanship have a way of pulling birds of a feather together (textile geeks).View full article →
