We don't keep finished stock sitting on a shelf. Every General Knot piece is made by hand in our Bedford, New York studio after your order comes in, which is why our timing runs a little longer than a warehouse operation's.

Our standard shipping window is 5–10 business days, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. That is the time we need to make your order and hand it to the carrier — not the time it spends in transit.

If you need something by a particular date, or have any other special circumstances, write to us at info@generalknot.com. We'll tell you honestly whether we can make it work.

Domestic (U.S.)

• Orders of $150 or more ship free.
• Orders under $150: USPS Ground Advantage $7.95, or FedEx Ground $9.95.

Canada

• Orders of $200 or more ship free via USPS First Class.
• Orders under $200: $25.00 via USPS First Class.

International (beyond Canada)

• Orders of $300 or more ship free via USPS First Class / Global Post.
• USPS First Class / Global Post: $25. Delivery times vary by destination.
• USPS Priority: $45. Typically 6–10 business days.

Unless another method is requested, all international orders ship via USPS First Class / Global Post. International orders ship postage paid; any duties or handling charges are set by the destination country and are the recipient's responsibility.

Transit times, once shipped

USPS Ground Advantage typically takes one to seven business days and FedEx Ground one to five, depending on destination. A tracking number is emailed when your order ships.
